Q. How do I place an order with Rock.Paper.Scribbles?

A. We are proud to have partnered with some of the finest stationery design companies out there and now offer an option for shopping online via our co-branded vendor websites.  We have links on both our Products page as well as our Specials page that will take you directly to those co-branded vendor websites, where you can browse and make purchases online.

We are working on adding a shopping cart feature to our website, so in the meantime if you see an item that you would like to purchase that does not offer an online shopping feature, please contact us directly at info@rockpaperscribbles.com.  We will be happy to help you customize any of the products that we carry!  Email inquiries are generally answered within 24 hours.


Q. What kind of payments do you accept? 

A. Rock-Paper-Scribbles accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express or PayPal.  We will submit your payment for authorization and processing at the time that you place the order and your credit card will be charged for the entire order.

Please note that when you submit an online order using a credit card you are giving Rock-Paper-Scribbles authorization to verify and charge your credit card.  If you prefer to pay by check or money order, we will not begin production of your order until your payment clears in full.


Q. Do I need to pay Sales Tax?

A. If you reside in the state of Louisiana, Rock-Paper-Scribbles is required by law to collect 9% Louisiana State Sales Tax on your order.  If you are not a Louisiana resident, you are exempt from Sales Tax and you will not be charged sales tax.


Q. What is your cancellation policy?

A. All orders that are placed online through our website are typically processed within 24 hours.  If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order or would like to cancel your order for any reason, we ask that you contact us by email at info@rockpaperscribbles.com.

We will do our best to assist you with cancelling your order, but since each manufacturer has their own policy regarding cancellations we cannot guarantee that you will receive a full refund (some charge a processing or cancellation fee).


Q. What is your return policy?

A. All customized orders are non-refundable and not returnable; however, if you receive an order with an error that is clearly a mistake on the part of the manufacturer it will be reprinted at no charge and shipped to you at the earliest convenience. 

Each manufacturer has their own return policy, so please contact us directly to discuss your situation and Rock-Paper-Scribbles will gladly assist you.


Q. What is your privacy policy?

A. We will never share or sell your information to third parties for marketing purposes; also rest assured that any and all information regarding your event and other order details are held in the strictest confidence and are only shared with other entities only when it is necessary in order to complete and deliver your order.

Rock-Paper-Scribbles will retain your email address for future email marketing purposes; however, you will have the option to unsubscribe at any time.  Our emails may consist of our own newsletter or any special manufacturer discounts as they become available.

All credit card and payment information you provide is processed through our secure server with encryption protection and will be deleted from the system after your order has been processed. 


Q. What are your turnaround times for orders?

A. Turnaround time depends upon whether or not you require a proof, where the order is shipping from and to and the shipping method selected (i.e., ground, overnight or 2-3 day air).  Current turnaround times are listed in the product description, but please note that these are subject to change.

Turnaround and shipping times vary by product and by vendor, and will increase during the busy holiday season starting mid-October and running through the end of December.  Please contact us if you are concerned about getting an order in time and we will let you know if placing a rush order is an option.


Q. What do you charge for shipping?

A. We charge a flat rate for shipping based upon your order amount.  Most of the products will ship directly from the manufacturer, and the shipping methods vary; we make every attempt to keep the shipping information current in the product's description, but please contact us if you have further questions.

If your total order consists of products from more than one vendor and you prefer to have the items combined (eg., if your order is a gift and you want everything wrapped and packaged together), please include this in the Special Instructions when you place the order.


Q. Do you gift-wrap items?

A. If your order is a gift and you would like to have it gift-wrapped, please indicate this in the Special Instructions field.  Most of our vendors offer gift wrapping at no charge, but if your gift order combines products from more than one vendor and you prefer to package them together, please let us know this in the Special Instructions field.


Q. Do you accept orders for shipping outside of the continental United States?

A. Not at this time.  We are currently only able to process orders for delivery within the 48 continental United States (not available for shipping to Hawaii or Alaska).


Q. May I see a proof of my order before it is shipped?

A. Most of the paper product manufacturers that we represent offer proofs for a small fee.  We try to list this in the product description, but please contact us if you would like a proof and do not see an option.  If requested, your proof will be sent online or by fax for your final approval of wording, layout and font (typestyle) selection.  Please review all proofs carefully and note any changes that are needed.

All items represented and sold by Rock-Paper-Scribbles (www.rockpaperscribbles.com) are protected by copyright of the designer and are property of the designer.  Any reproduction of the designs that we represent is strictly prohibited.


Q. May I pre-order envelopes for birth announcements or wedding invitations?

A. For your convenience, we do offer pre-shipment of envelopes for birth announcements and wedding invitations.  There may be a small fee for this service, as indicated in the product description.  If you wish to pre-order your baby's birth announcements and then call or email with the details after the birth, please indicate in the personalization field and we will hold your order for you.


Q. How do I submit a photo for my custom order?

A. Please email all photos to info@rockpaperscribbles.com.  Your photo may be cropped to fit the design and to allow for the best appearance and should be no less than 300 dpi resolution.  If you send a color photo but prefer it to be printed in black and white, please indicate this in the Special Instructions field of your order. 

By submitting your photograph you are thereby acknowledging that you have full rights and permission to use the image, and you are agreeing to indemnify Rock-Paper-Scribbles from all actions, damages, losses, expenses and liabilities associated with your possession of or reproduction of the image.


Q. What if I have a custom design in mind?

A. We love to handle custom jobs!  Many of our manufacturers offer custom design services, and we also have our own Rock-Paper-Scribbles designer that would be happy to discuss your design ideas.


Q. How many extra invitations should I order for my wedding or special event?

A. We recommend ordering 25-30 extra invitations for weddings, and 15-20 for other special event invitations or announcements.  If you decide against ordering extras initially and find you do need more after all, it will be just like starting over so it is always best to go ahead and order those extras.
